SUBMISSION FOR
The Delaware Contemporary Friends' Solo Exhibition 2020 Season

Submission deadline: July 31, 2018 by 5 pm
Notification by: August 6, 2018 (due to the volume of applications, only selected artists will be notified)
Application fee: $30

Exhibition Dates:
Opening and closing dates subject to change

• October 4, 2019 - January 15, 2020

• January 28 — April 24, 2020

• September 4 - December 27, 2020

The Delaware Contemporary is accepting applications for the 2020 Friends' Solo Exhibition season. Applicants will be considered for one of the three solo exhibition opportunities in the Beckler Family Gallery. All applicants must be a current Friend of the museum and must not have had a solo exhibition at The Delaware Contemporary in the last three years or have been on view at any venue within 50 miles of the museum in the past three years.

Submission Requirements:

Pay application fee and include the order receipt number in the body of the submission email. 

Submit the following information as a single document (.DOC, .PDF--do not embed in an email) to artistopp@decontemporary.org with the exact email subject line "Solo2020":

• Name and contact information

• Artist resume

• Artist bio and statement

• No more than 5 images of artwork

• Image list for submitted artworks including: Title, Date, Medium, Dimensions

• Optional: No more than 2 URL links to video

All forms of media will be considered. Artwork that is submitted in multiple documents, in a format not listed above, and/or late submissions will not be reviewed. If you have any questions about or issues complying with the submissions requirements, please contact us at info@decontemporary.org.
