Every two years, The Delaware Contemporary dedicates its full gallery footprint to a single theme or medium. For 2025, this biennial explores machine intelligence in seven exhibitions that bring together eleven groundbreaking artists working at the intersection of code, culture, and computation.
On view September 5, 2025, Art + AI explores artificial intelligence not simply as a tool, but as subject, collaborator, and mirror to reveal the profound ways this technology is reshaping the nature of art, identity, and agency. The Art + AI Biennial will feature immersive installations and interactive interfaces with work that investigates how artificial intelligence encodes culture and recasts the terms of authorship, labor, and truth.
Curated by Amy Hicks, Erica Loustau, and Marnie Benney
This exhibition is sponsored in part by the PNC Foundation.
