This “speed-dating” style meet-and-greet is a fast-paced, active way to introduce yourself and your portfolio to curators and cultural leaders in Wilmington. Artists have a chance to meet and mingle with your fellow artists as well as our guest curators.

Guest Curators:

Rebecca Moore is the Director of Somerville Manning Gallery, which specializes in the Wyeth family of artists and mid/late-career contemporary artists. The gallery presents museum-quality works of art and offers personalized support in all aspects of art collecting, including assisting private clients and public institutions in developing their collections. For over 14 years, Rebecca has brought a modern take to the Brandywine tradition that is so important to the gallery and the region. Her specific knowledge and personal connection with the artists she represents show her passion for their work, careers, and vision. She splits her time between her home in Philadelphia and the gallery in Wilmington.

John Reaves is the founder and director of The Window on Delaware Street, a gallery in New Castle, DE. The gallery focuses on interdisciplinary exhibits and events, and on programs that engage community members with local and regional artists and craftspeople. John’s background includes digital media, 2D and 3D arts and design, education, theater and film. He is a founder of the Gertrude Stein Repertory Theater (1990), Learning Worlds (1998), and Learning Worlds Institute (2008). He has developed international arts programs that combine virtual performance, interactive 2D and 3D media, virtual teaching and museum archiving.

Margaret Winslow Margaret Winslow currently lives and works in Wilmington, Delaware where she is the Chief Curator and Curator of Contemporary Art at the Delaware Art Museum. She has curated for the Neuberger Museum of Art and The Delaware Contemporary and assisted with exhibits for the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum. Margaret has served as an evaluator for the Headlands Center for the Arts, an adjunct faculty member at the University of Delaware, and a radio host for Art Watch on WCHE 1520 AM.
