Call for artwork from Delaware High School Students (Grades 9 - 12). Artwork must be the creation of a single student. Students may not collaborate on an entry. This entry is the Office of Congresswoman McBride. Free to enter.

Each spring, a nation-wide high school arts competition is sponsored by the Members of the U.S. House of Representatives. The Artistic Discovery Contest is an opportunity to recognize and encourage the artistic talent in the nation, as well as in our Congressional District. Congresswoman Sarah McBride’s congressional district includes the entire state of Delaware.

All artwork will be reviewed by a jury of specialists to select the winner and artwork for exhibition.

The first place artwork will hang in the U.S. Capital in Washington, DC, from June 2026 to May 2027.

Other selected work will be exhibited at The Delaware Contemporary between April 13 - 26, 2026, with a reception on April 13, 2026 from 6 - 8 PM.
