IMPROBABLE SUSPENSION
Susan Ferrari Rowley
July 8 - September 8, 2017
Opening Reception Saturday, July 8, 3 - 5 PM
In her newest exhibition, Susan Ferrari Rowley explores the concepts of experience, space, material, illusion, suspension, and translucency. Implied or actual volume weaves through the interiors and exteriors of the negative and positive spaces. Minimalism is her feature presentation as lines intersect with planar elements to define the arrangement of space. Employing welded aluminum and hand-sewn poly fiber, Rowley’s work sets a paradox of large scale against an airy translucence.
