“I paint from life conscious of the simultaneous magic and tragic aspects of nature.  The natural world offers the inspiration to dig deep into the secrets of life. The landscape envelopes us in a magic mantle full of stories. The interconnectedness enacted by the smallest life forms and the magnitude of the natural order coincides with subjects often holding a continuous fascination since childhood. I reach for the possibility of creating a resonance with viewers of their own references.” - Anne Oldach
