OPENING EVENT:

ABOUT THE EXHIBIT –
This installation features a series of prints by Lisa Marie Patzer. Inspired by 35mm slides captured by Ben Kabakow, a NYC postal worker and photographer who travelled the world throughout the mid-1900’s, Patzer remixes urban features such as buildings, cars, signs, and people. With color, pattern, and a retro-graphic design, Lisa Marie reimagines scenes from Ben’s travels with surreal and whimsical aesthetic.
