Works by Danielle Glovin

Every two years, The Delaware Contemporary devotes its full gallery footprint to a single theme, opening space for artists and audiences to linger with questions that shape our time.

In 2025, that question is artificial intelligence.

Art + AI unfolds across seven exhibitions with eleven artists whose practices push against the boundaries of code, culture, and computation. Rather than presenting AI as novelty, the exhibition approaches it as subject, collaborator, and mirror, inviting us to consider how machine intelligence unsettles what we know about art, identity, and human agency itself.

We know that art institutions are not only repositories of the past but arenas for the present: places where urgent, complex ideas can be wrestled with in public.

The curators Marnie Benney, Amy Hicks, and Erica Loustau, along with artists Carrie Ann Baade, Mark Burchick, Tyanna Buie, Stephanie Dinkins, Danielle Glovin, Sol Kim, Blažo Kovačević, Leah Modigliani, Mel Rosen, Stass Shpanin, and Tara Youngborg, invite you to step inside the questions shaping not only art’s future, but our collective one.

This exhibition is sponsored in part by the PNC Foundation.
