FROM THE ARTIST
When our Founding Fathers envisioned the "truths" they formalized in the Declaration of Independence, they did not see through the lenses that we use 250 years later. This show considers the many and diverse ways in which the democratic experiment is both celebrated and threatened at present. The imagery is as direct or as opaque as we make it. Imagine, if you will, that you are on a car journey and this gallery show offers glimpses of the world that we have wrought.
