Elevating the classic and ever playful polka dot. Hundreds of years ago dots symbolized the plague. In the mid 1800s, it surfaced in the context of fashion. In the early 1920s, the Miss America pageant saw them, and then Minnie Mouse set the real stage for polka dot fever. Dior sophisticated the dots in the 50s, and now, in the context of the current world plague, they create a statement of contemporary haute couture.
