WEST STREET ART FESTIVAL

THANK YOU to everyone who celebrated our summer exhibitions at our family festival of art! West Street Art Festival 2021 featured indoor and outdoor art-based activities, performances, vendors, food trucks, and refreshments with highlights including a community bike ride in partnership with the Urban Bike Project; and, a community mural designed by artist 7GOD focusing on mental health awareness.

All COVID-19 restrictions will be adhered to at this event.

WEST STREET 2021 WORKSHOPS AND ACTIVITIES

River-to-River Art Ride with Urban Bike Project
Discover public art installations and community art projects in Wilmington! Join Urban Bike Project from 11 AM - 12:30 PM for a bicycle tour through the city, stopping along the way to learn about the art and artists that beautify our communities. Ride starts and ends at the Delaware Contemporary. Free and family friendly! Helmets required for all riders.

Community Driven Mural with 7GOD - The Artivist
Buy My Art Before I Die, Art Installation Reveal: Titled: I Am > I Was, Installation by 7GOD
This participatory interpretive mural experience is designed to enlighten visitors about mental health and reflect on their own experiences by exploring positive affirmations. This mural installation will be on view at The Delaware Contemporary through the next summer of 2022!
