Introducing CREATORSPACE: Imagine, Explore, Create!
The Delaware Contemporary continues our mission to provide innovative summer programming for youth ages 7-13. We have recreated our Summer Camp programs and now offer the NEW Contemporary CREATORSPACE! These unique, week long opportunities offer youth a space to discover their creativity in a an environment that encourages self-expression through the arts. With the guidance of professional artists and art educators, your young artist will construct individual and collaborative projects that push traditional materials through non-traditional investigations and learn in a supportive and inspiring setting. Each week concludes with an art exhibition and reception for the participants and their guests to celebrate their creative achievements . We offer affordable half and full day options as well as before and after care PLUS each student makes their own custom T-shirt.
TIMES AND FEES:
Full Day: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM | $225
Half Day: 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM | $135
Before Care: 8:30 - 9:00 AM | $50
After Care: 4:00 - 5:30 PM | $50
Before/After Care is also available for $10 per day or $5 per 15 minutes and will be billed separately.

CREATORSPACE: EXPLORATION CLAY & ANIMATION
July 9 - 13, 2018
Expand imagination and explore the exciting world of clay! Students will work with illustration, sculpture, claymation, animation, and wheel-thrown pottery and make connections between still and moving images.
CREATORSPACE: DESIGN, CONSTRUCT & INNOVATE
July 16 - 20, 2018
Design and build three-dimensional constructions using found, recycled, and traditional materials. Students will work with master artists through a creative and engaging process to explore, build, and test the boundaries of contemporary and sustainable design. This CREATORSPACE will connect to the exhibition THE FUTURE PEOPLE: CREATING PUBLIC IMAGINATION on display in our DuPont II Gallery June 18 - October 10, 2018.
