January 25, March 22 and May 24
January 25 - All Galleries
Enjoy a gallery walk with our curator through the current exhibitions on display at The Delaware Contemporary. Each exhibition has a unique story to tell from the American obsession with "stuff" to a journey across our northern border.
March 22 - Form to Function
Collaborating with the Wexler Gallery in Philadelphia, Nangle and Pincus, bring their complementary work of metals and glass, porcelain and high-octane color to the two DuPont galleries. Their functional work infuses patterns found in nature, history, and culture into stunning forms.
May 24 - James Newton
Local artist James Newton shares a story about the arts in Wilmington and how Percy Ricks influenced a generation of African-American artists. The exhibition touches on the 50th anniversary of the 1968 Occupation and Riots in Wilmington Delaware.
