Youth/Teen/Adult classes and workshops are instructed by professional artists, designers, and educators, and cover a wide variety of materials and techniques.

Professional development classes and workshops for artists provide career and technical building tools to help artists achieve success.

Professional development classes and workshops for educators provide teachers with rich opportunities to relate the arts directly to their own lives and the lives of their students. Educators will explore traditional and contemporary materials and techniques, as well as strategies for making connections between hands-on art making and classroom concepts to engage 21st century students in an immersive learning experience.

The Delaware Contemporary is seeking an Education Intern for 20 hours per week, for an approximately 12 week internship. The Education Intern assists the Director of Education and Education Associate with administrative duties and research associated with varied and numerous education programs. The Education Intern is responsible for assistance with administrative duties, program documentation, and the marketing/communication of The Delaware Contemporary education programs to the public. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong interest in contemporary art and to those wishing to pursue a career in educational work.
