Professional development classes and workshops for artists provide career and technical building tools to help artists achieve success.

Professional development classes and workshops for educators provide teachers with rich opportunities to relate the arts directly to their own lives and the lives of their students. Educators will explore traditional and contemporary materials and techniques, as well as strategies for making connections between hands-on art making and classroom concepts to engage 21st century students in an immersive learning experience.

The Delaware Contemporary provides a wide variety of community involvement programs, from Teaching Artists on the Go to long-term engagements such as After School Art Clubs, and the long-standing Contemporary Connections program.
